| Chelsea lacks class at exclusive event
Clinton arrived at Stanford yesterday for a one-day swing through campus in order to talk to young women, a key target demographic of the Clinton campaign. But the limited invitation policy of the event at Pi Phi, which was only open to members of the Inter-Sorority-Council, left a bad taste in the mouths of the many Clinton fans and political junkies across campus, many of whom would have stayed home from Lake Tahoe ski trips for a chance to attend. In an effort to sway undecided voters for California's upcoming Feb. 5 presidential primary, Chelsea hosted a small round-table discussion at Old Union and later a larger event open only to sorority members in the Pi Phi lounge. According to a member of the Stanford Students for Hillary, who was quoted in the Stanford Daily on Monday [Chelsea Campaigns at Farm], the former first daughter wanted to reach out to the sorority audience in order to tap into a "core demographic" of Hillary Clinton's campaign.
Cover Story: Angelina's Joy Is Jen's Pain
And on Feb. 23, when Jen, Brad and the woman he left her for, Angelina Jolie, will all take part in hosting a charity event at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the tension in the room will most certainly be palpable. Sources tell OK! the former Friends star is now gearing up for the moment she'll have to say hello to Angelina or, as she chooses to put it, "that person who ruined my life." Making the matter more stressful for Jen, who turned 39 on Feb. 11, is that she's being constantly bombarded with images of a glowing, pregnant Angelina. “Jen is desperate for kids," says a source. “She can feel her biological clock ticking and must be scared that she's left it too late. She keeps saying that she wishes she had kids with Brad and that, if she had, maybe things would be different."For the full story on Jen, Angelina and Brad, pick up the new OK! — on stands everywhere Thursday! .

Weather Slows Clinton, Obama Campaigns
MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A snow and ice storm Sunday slowed the campaigns of Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama in Wisconsin.Clinton had scheduled an early afternoon town hall meeting in DePere, but a spokeswoman for her Wisconsin campaign said the event was postponed until Monday.Carly Lindauer said it was too risky to travel to DePere, in the eastern part of the state, and that the campaign did not want people going out into the storm and trying to get to St. Norbert University, where the rally was to be held.Obama had scheduled an afternoon town hall meeting in nearby Kaukauna, but that also has been canceled due to weather. .
HAWAII NOT?
It's more expensive, but there's more of its raw side to enjoy for anyone else who doesn't like staying in one place for too long. STAY: Old Wailuku Inn is a historic B&B chock full of Asian antiques like headboards salvaged from Buddhist temples in China. It's an excellent base camp for exploring Haleakala volcano (from $150; oldwailukuinn.com). The Lahaina Inn features the comfort and romance of a 19th century inn in a restored 60-year-old hostelry, once a general store (from $145; lahainainn.com). Nearby, the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort boasts fully equipped beachfront condos decked out in traditional Hawaiian hues. Mountain views are the most affordable (from $210; lahainashores.com). DO: Gawk at the beautiful sunrise on Haleakala, a 10,000-foot volcano featuring a 7-mile wide, 3000-feet deep crater that is the closest you'll ever get to a lunarscape.
I-Team: Firefighter-Paramedic Drug Abuse Raises Questions
They are often called heroes, charged with saving property and protecting lives. But last week, a firefighter-paramedic was charged with stealing narcotics from emergency medical kits stored inside fire stations and ambulances. The suspect told police he has been addicted to morphine since 2005. So the I-Team asked how someone could be addicted to drugs and go unnoticed within the fire department for so long. Does the fire department have random drug testing? And if not -- why? Metro randomly tests officers and civilian staff throughout the year and again before someone moves into a specialized unit that handles illegal drugs. So with narcotics like Morphine, Valium and Versed readily available to firefighter paramedics, we asked the fire chief if the Clark County Fire Department does the same.
On Valentine's Day, choose romance without reservations
Better yet, hand out an IOU and prepare your romantic meal on Saturday. If true love waits for sex, it can wait for dinner, too. I look to the French when I need inspiration for mealtime romance. The French love amour and it shows in their sensuous food. And on President Nicolas Sarkozy's puppy-dog face as he gazes at his new bride, model-turned-pop-singer Carla Bruni. It's not the fancy, four-star cuisine of cream sauces and impossible pastries that send me, though. I prefer to emulate the simple goodness of bistro fare or the Provencal flavors of the Mediterranean region. So, with the help of Ina Garten and her cookbook Barefoot in Paris (Clarkson Potter, 2004), here's a menu that will stoke the fire. Romance on the menu - Cocktails and Radishes WithButter and Salt - Scallops Provencal With Basmati Rice - Chocolate Orange Mousse This is a meal all about the senses, from the gentle pink of the radishes and their disarming heat to the sun-kissed tang of briny olives mingling with sweet scallops.
